Please see below for an update on construction activities taking place along the Davis Drive corridor this week.

paving preparations date change

In preparation for top-layer paving, crews will be working in the center lane rapidway at the intersections of Yonge Street and Prospect Street/Lundy’s Lane on Davis Drive. Expect delays as lanes will be reduced and traffic movements will be restricted to perform the work.

The dates have been revised to the following:

• Prospect/Lundy’s Lane [September 15-18]
• Yonge [September 16-18]

overnight work

To help ease the flow of traffic along Davis Drive, left-turn traffic sensors will be installed at intersections along the corridor. Overnight this week and next week, crews will be installing sensors between Yonge Street and Main Street. The sensors will be used to prioritize the advanced green arrow for motorists to make left or u-turns through the intersections. Please refer to our previous notification for details.
