In preparation for top-layer paving, crews will be working in the center lane rapidway at the intersections of Yonge Street and Prospect Street/Lundy’s Lane on Davis Drive. Expect delays as lanes will be reduced and traffic movements will be restricted to perform the work.
Work dates: Monday, September 14 – Friday, September 18*
Work times: 7am – 7pm*
Work areas: the intersections of Yonge at Davis and Prospect/Lundy’s Lane at Davis
What you need to know:
- Yonge [September 14-16]
- Traffic will be reduced to one lane northbound and one lane southbound.
- To improve traffic flow, southbound lanes will not close until after 9:00am, and northbound lanes will be reopened for the evening drive.
- Pedestrian access will shift as work is taking place. Please watch for signs.
- Prospect/Lundy’s Lane [September 16-18]
- Drivers will not be able to make left-turns through the intersection.
- North and southbound drivers will have to make a right turn on Davis, proceed to the next intersection, make a u-turn, and then continue on to their destination.
- A paid duty police officer will be onsite to manage traffic.
- Pedestrian access will be maintained along the corridor. Watch for signs and follow police directions.
