Crews were planning to complete final paving operations along Yonge Street from Highway 407 to Garden Avenue/Yonge Connector Road overnight, however due to unfavorable overnight temperatures, paving activities will be completed during the day. Every effort is made to schedule paving operations; however, it is heavily dependent on good, dry weather and specific temperatures. If the weather does not permit, paving operations will be postponed.

The project is nearing a major milestone, as crews plan to pave the final segment of black and red asphalt on Yonge Street from Highway 407 to Garden Avenue/Yonge Connector Road. Starting overnight on Monday, crews will be paving top black asphalt and red in the rapidways and intersections on Yonge Street, from Oxford Street/Industrial Road to Bernard Avenue/Canyon Hill Avenue.

Crews continue to make good progress with overnight paving on Yonge Street in Richmond Hill. Starting tonight, crews will be paving the rapidway and intersections with red asphalt on Yonge between Beresford Drive/Westwood Lane to just north of Baif Boulevard/Observatory Lane.
