Starting Saturday, crews will be paving on Highway 7 just east and west of the Highway 400 bridge and eastbound and westbound from Nova Star Drive to Weston Road. In addition, to accommodate continued water main work, there will be various lane closures throughout the week and into next year. Please see below for further details.
paving:
work dates*: Saturday, December 15, Monday, December 17 – Thursday, December 20
work hours*: 9:30am – 3:30pm
- On Saturday and Monday, crews will be paving on Highway 7 just east and west of the Highway 400 bridge. To accommodate this work, there will be curb lane closures.
- Starting Tuesday until Thursday, crews will be paving both eastbound and westbound on Highway 7 between Nova Star Dr. and Weston Rd. Various short-term lane closures may be required.
water main:
work dates*: Starting Monday, December 17 and for the next several months
work hours*: 9:30am – 3:30pm
- Beginning Monday, to accommodate water main work, there will be various lane closures throughout the week and into next year. Stay tuned for updates.
general impacts:
- Sidewalks and bus stops will remain open wherever possible. If a sidewalk or bus stop is temporarily closed, directional signs will guide pedestrians to the nearest open sidewalk or bus stop.
- Please give yourself enough time to get to your destination, and remember to reduce your speed through construction zones.
