Together with York Region, York Region Rapid Transit Corporation’s mission is to collaboratively plan, design and deliver innovative mobility and rapid transit solutions to connect and transform communities.

Tracing back over 20 years, York Region’s vision for rapid transit has included subway, bus rapid transit, and transit terminals and facilities. YRRTC has worked together with York Region and all levels of government to deliver the initial phases of York Region’s Rapid Transit Plan, and now we’re advancing the next generation of rapid transit, to ensure a sustainable future and travel options welcoming to everyone.
