Subway comes to York Region

The TTC Line 1 subway now goes to Vaughan. How cool is that!

Running north from Sheppard West Station to Vaughan Metropolitan Centre Station at Highway 7, it’s 8.6 kilometres of stress-free transit service with six new stations along the way.

Vaughan Metropolitan Centre is the largest and most ambitious project in the area’s history. This transit-oriented neighbourhood, anchored around a tree-lined main street already includes office and condominium towers, retail, entertainment and cultural facilities – with lots more coming.

Getting there and getting around is easy whether you take transit, ride your bike, or walk.
