Viva Rapid Transit Construction Underway

It is estimated that 11,000 jobs will be created with the construction of this $1.4-billion York Viva Rapidway, funded by the province.

Government of Ontario fuels Viva with $1.4 billion funding

During an event held at the Caldari Operations Centre in Vaughan, Chairman Fisch applauded the Ontario Government for making such a significant funding commitment to public transit in York Region.
