LRT

Whether it looks like a train, a trolley or a streetcar, light rail transit (LRT) gets people around quickly and easily, with LRT vehicles operating on their own tracks to zip past congestion. VivaNext includes two LRT lines, adding to the regional transit network that will make it easy and convenient to travel around the Greater Toronto Area.

All the rapidways being built have been designed for conversion to LRT in the future as ridership increases.
