Starting tomorrow, crews will be stringing traffic light cables across the following side streets off Yonge: Gladman Avenue, Millard Avenue, and the entrance to Kia of Newmarket and Chapters.

work dates*: Thursday, June 8
work hours: 7am – 7pm

• Crews will be stringing traffic light cables on the east side of Yonge at Gladman.
• Crews will then head north to string cables on the east and west side of Yonge at Millard, and the entrance to Kia of Newmarket and Chapters.
• To accommodate this work, there will be short-term [5-10 minutes] side street closures while crews string the cables.
• Traffic control staff and paid duty police officers will be onsite to direct traffic.
• Work will take place during off peak hours [9am-3:30pm] while crews install the traffic light cables.
• Please give yourself enough time to get to your destination, and remember to reduce your speed through construction zones.

*Please note: As with all construction projects, some work may be re-scheduled due to weather. We’ll provide advanced notice when possible.
