traffic cable installation at Yonge and Eagle intersection

The installation of temporary traffic poles and signals between Sawmill Valley Drive and Davis Drive on Yonge Street, in Newmarket, has made great progress. Tomorrow, Thursday, March 23, crews will pull traffic cables across the Yonge and Eagle Street intersection.

work dates*: Thursday, March 23
work hours: 9am-3pm

There will be four (4) interruptions [up to 10 minutes each time] as crews pull the cable across the road.
Paid duty police officers will be on site to direct traffic.
Please give yourself enough time to get to your destination, and remember to reduce your speed through construction zones.

*Please note: As with all construction projects, some work may be re-scheduled due to weather. We’ll provide advanced notice when possible.
