hydro installation work on Yonge Street in Newmarket

Crews will be installing concrete foundations in preparation for new hydro poles along Yonge between Davis Drive and Clearmeadow Boulevard.

work dates*: Starting on Tuesday, October 11, for about two weeks
work hours*: 7am–7pm

what you need to know:

Temporary north and southbound rolling curb lane closures will be required around the work area.
Where bus stops and sidewalks are affected, directional signs will guide pedestrians to the nearest open bus stop or sidewalk.
There will be construction-related noise and dust from trucks and equipment.
Some weekend work may be required.

* Please note: As with other road construction projects, some work may be rescheduled due to weather. We’ll provide advance notice whenever possible.
