June 24, 2016

Next week, crews will be working on traffic control equipment at the northwest corner of Yonge Street and Millard Avenue.

work dates*: Monday, June 27 to Tuesday, June 28
work hours*: 7am – 7pm

  • The curb lane on the northwest corner of the intersection will be temporarily closed.
  • The through and left turn lane from eastbound Millard to Yonge will have intermittent closures as crews string cables to the traffic pole in the median.
  • Vehicle access to Millard and Yonge will be maintained at all times.
  • The sidewalks and crosswalks at the intersection will remain open. Personnel will be on site to guide pedestrians around the work zone.
  • On Tuesday, during off-peak times, the traffic lights will be temporarily out of service in all directions at the intersection of Yonge and Millard. Expect to see the lights flashing.
  • Paid duty police officers will be on site to direct traffic until service is restored.

* Please note: As with all construction projects, some work may be rescheduled due to weather. We’ll provide advance notice whenever possible.

We understand that construction can be disruptive and we thank you in advance for your patience during this time.
