Map of construction work areas

work dates*: Monday, November 20 – Friday, November 24
work hours*: 7am–7pm

what you need to know:

  • Crews will be digging a trench across Millard to install a new storm sewer line, starting on the southeast corner. Crews will then backfill and pave the work area, and move north.
  • To accommodate this work, Millard will be reduced to one eastbound and one westbound lane at the intersection.
  • There will be one northbound curb lane closure around the work area.
  • As crews move north, Yonge will be reduced to one northbound lane, between Millard and Davis, during off-peak hours [7am-3pm].
  • Traffic control staff and paid duty police officers will be onsite to direct traffic for the duration of this work.
  • Bus stops and sidewalks will remain open. If a bus stop or sidewalk is closed, directional signs will guide pedestrians to the nearest open bus stop or sidewalk.
  • Due to the nature of this work, there will be construction-related noise and dust from equipment and trucks.

*Please note: As with all construction projects, some work may be re-scheduled due to weather. We’ll provide advanced notice when possible. Watch twitter.com/vivanext for last-minute updates.
