Crews will be removing median islands on Mulock Drive east and west of Yonge Street in Newmarket tomorrow and Monday. Please see below for further details.

work dates*: Friday, May 26 and Monday, May 29
work hours*: 7am–7pm

what you need to know:

• To accommodate this work, Mulock Dr. will be reduced to one lane in each direction, with the eastbound and westbound lanes nearest the median closed.
• Left-turn lanes at the intersection will be maintained during peak hours.
• Crews are scheduled to remove the median island on the west side of Yonge St. first, and then on the east side.
• Crews will back-fill the areas and later pave and line paint.
• If crosswalks are temporarily impacted, pedestrians will be directed by flag persons.
• There will be construction-related noise and vibration from equipment and trucks during this activity.
• Please give yourself enough time to get to your destination, and remember to reduce your speed through construction zones.
