Starting overnight on Monday, crews will be removing old traffic lines and refreshing existing traffic lines in various areas on Yonge Street, from south of Highway 7 to Major Mackenzie Drive in Richmond Hill. Please see below for more details.

work dates*: Monday, March 26 and Tuesday, March 27
work hours*: 7pm-7am, overnight

what you need to know

Crews will be removing old traffic lines on Yonge from south of Hwy 7 to Carrville/16th Ave.
Crews will also be refreshing traffic lines on Yonge from Carrville/16th to Major Mackenzie.
To accommodate this work, there will be rolling lane closures within the work zone.
There will be construction-related noise from equipment and trucks.
Expect delays, and please give yourself enough time to get to your destination, and remember to reduce your speed through construction zones.
