As part of ongoing gas main installation for the Yonge Street bus rapid transit project, there will be a westbound curb lane closure on High Tech Road, east of Yonge Street. Please see below for further details.

work dates*: Monday, March 19 – Friday, April 6
work hours*: 7am-7pm, closure in place 24/7

what you need to know

To accommodate this work, there will be one westbound curb lane closure on High Tech, east of Yonge.
Access to properties and businesses will be maintained; however, driveways may be reduced or temporarily disrupted. Advance notice will be provided wherever possible.
Wherever possible, sidewalks and bus stops will remain open. If a sidewalk or bus stop is closed, directional signs will guide pedestrians to the nearest open sidewalk or bus stop.
Traffic control staff and paid duty officers will be on site as required.
Some weekend work may be required.
Due to the nature of this work, at times, there will be construction-related noise and dust from equipment and trucks.
Please expect delays and give yourself enough time to get to your destination. Remember to reduce your speed through construction zones.
