To accommodate utility installation, crews will be painting new traffic lines on Yonge Street between Observatory Lane and Weldrick Road.

what you need to know

Crews will remove and then re-paint traffic lines on Yonge from Observatory to Weldrick.

To accommodate this work, traffic will be shifted west on Yonge.
Yonge will be reduced to one lane in each direction during off-peak hours [9:30am-3:30pm].

Traffic control staff and paid duty police officers will be onsite, as required.
There will be construction-related noise from equipment and trucks, including grinding of pavement, as the existing traffic lines are removed.
Expect delays, and please give yourself enough time to get to your destination, and remember to reduce your speed through construction zones.
