duct bank installation on Yonge from Naughton to Nottingham

Crews will be installing a duct bank [a structure which gathers together and encases utility cables] on the west side of Yonge Street from Naughton Drive to Nottingham Drive in Richmond Hill.

work dates*: Thursday, November 23, for approximately two months
work hours: 7am-7pm

what you need to know

There will be temporary southbound curb lane closures and some right-turn lane closures required in the work areas along Yonge from Naughton to Nottingham.
Wherever possible, sidewalks will remain open. If a sidewalk is closed, directional signage will be on site to guide pedestrians.
Access will be maintained to properties in work areas; however driveways may be reduced or temporarily disrupted. Advance notice will be provided wherever possible.
Some weekend and overnight work will be required.
The large equipment used for these operations will be stored along the boulevards for the duration of this work.
Please give yourself enough time to get to your destination, and remember to reduce your speed through construction zones.
Due to the nature of this work, at times, there will be construction-related noise, dust and vibration from equipment and trucks.
