traffic signal work at Yonge Street and Mulock Drive

Tomorrow, crews will disconnect the power to the traffic signals in order to relocate and install street lighting to temporary wooden poles at the intersection of Yonge Street and Mulock Drive.

work dates*: Wednesday, July 27
work hours*: 7am – 7pm

  • During off-peak hours, the traffic lights will be out of service in all directions at the intersection of Yonge and Mulock for approximately 20 minutes. Expect to see the lights out or flashing.
  • Vehicle access to Yonge and Mulock will be maintained at all times. Paid duty police officers will be on site to direct traffic until the traffic signals are restored.
  • YRT/Viva ticketing machines will be out of service at the northeast and southwest corners, one at a time, for approximately 15 minutes.
  • The sidewalks in each work area will be temporarily closed. Personnel will be on site to guide pedestrians around the work zone as necessary.

* Please note: As with all construction projects, some work may be rescheduled due to weather. We’ll provide advance notice whenever possible.
