lane closures on Yonge Street in Richmond Hill: May 28 – June 12

As part of pre-construction investigations along Yonge Street, monitoring wells were installed to collect soil and groundwater samples. Those site investigations are now complete and the wells will be removed from the boulevard and road.

Work dates*: Thursday, May 28 to Friday, June 12
Work hours*: 7am to 7pm

Locations: various locations along Yonge Street from Highway 7 to Major Mackenzie Drive and from Levendale Road to 19th Ave./Gamble Road.

What you need to know:

  • There will be short-duration north and southbound lane closures as crews work along the corridor
  • All areas will be cleaned up before moving to the next location
  • Some sidewalks may be closed and bus stops may be temporarily relocated during this work. Please follow signs provided to reach your destination
