gas main installation on Yonge from Levendale to Oxford

Starting Monday, gas main installation will begin on the west side of Yonge Street from Levendale Road to just south of Oxford Street.

work dates*: Monday, July 31, for approximately 2 months
work hours: 7am-7pm

what you need to know:

There will be temporary southbound curb lane closures during off-peak hours [9:30am-3:30pm]. More information about these lane closures will be provided once the details are confirmed.
As part of this work, crews will also be working on the southeast corner of Yonge and Industrial Road.
Access will be maintained to properties in work areas; however driveways may be reduced or temporarily disrupted. Advance notice will be provided wherever possible.
Wherever possible, sidewalks will remain open. If a sidewalk is closed, directional signage will be onsite to guide pedestrians.
Some bus stop relocations may be required for this work. Where bus stops are affected, directional signs will guide pedestrians to the nearest open bus stop.
Some weekend and overnight work may be required.
Due to the nature of this work, at times, there will be construction-related noise and dust from equipment and trucks.
