Crews will be installing sidewalks on the east side of South Town Centre Boulevard, starting as early as Monday, April 27. A pedestrian detour will be in place. Please see below for details about the temporary closure of the sidewalk.

Location: Sidewalk located on the east side of South Town Centre Boulevard
Dates: Starting as early as Monday, April 27, for approximately one week
Times: This sidewalk closure will be in place 24 hours per day and the work will be completed weekdays from 7am to 5:30pm.

Description:

• Starting as early as Monday, the sidewalk on the east side of South Town Centre will be closed, from Highway 7 to Cedarland Drive for sidewalk concrete pouring.
• The northbound curb lane will be temporarily closed 24 hours per day for the duration of the work.
• A pedestrian detour will be in place along the northbound curb lane on South Town Centre. Pylons and signage will help direct pedestrians.
• The driveway to 3601 and 3603 South Town Centre will remain open and pedestrian and vehicle access will be maintained throughout the work.
• There will be no impact to Viva bus service on the rapidway.
• Work will be completed as quickly as possible to minimize any inconvenience.
• This work is weather-dependent.

Please remember to reduce your speed through construction zones and be mindful of traffic shifts and signs that will help guide you along your way. If you’re walking, please use dedicated crosswalks and stay aware of your surroundings.
