Crews will be installing boulevards and sidewalks on the north side of Cedarland Drive, starting as early as Monday, April 20. Please see below for details about the temporary closure of the westbound traffic lane.

Location: Westbound lanes of Cedarland, from Warden Avenue to South Town Centre Boulevard
Dates: starting as early as Monday, April 20, until approximately the end of June. This closure will be in place 24 hours per day and the work will be completed weekdays between 7am to 5:30pm.
Times: 7am to 5:30pm

Description:

• Starting Monday, crews will be installing permanent curbs and sidewalks on the north side of Cedarland, from Warden to South Town Centre.
• The westbound traffic lane will be temporarily closed 24 hours per day for the duration of the work.
• Traffic will be detoured via Clegg Road.
• A flag person will be onsite to assist drivers.
• Pedestrian access will be maintained on the south side of Cedarland.
• There will be no impact to Viva bus service on the rapidway, including stopping at Cedarland Station.
• Work will be completed as quickly as possible to minimize any inconvenience.
• There will be construction-related noise from equipment and trucks.
• This work is weather-dependent.

Please remember to reduce your speed through construction zones and be mindful of traffic shifts and signs that will help guide you along your way. If you’re walking, please use dedicated crosswalks and stay aware of your surroundings.
