Warden Avenue sidewalk and lane closures

Crews will be installing permanent curbs and sidewalks on Warden, south of Highway 7 during the week of April 13. Please see below for details about a temporary lane closure and sidewalk closure.

Location: Warden southbound, from Cedarland Drive to the IBM private road
Dates: Monday, April 13 to Friday, April 24
Times: 9:30am – 3:30pm*

Description:

• Starting Monday, crews will be replacing the existing temporary curbs and sidewalks on the west side of Warden with new curbs and sidewalks, from Cedarland to the IBM private road.
• The southbound curb lane will be temporarily closed.
• The sidewalk located between traffic lanes of Warden and the rapidway will be temporarily closed – pedestrians should follow directional signs and use the sidewalk on the east side of Warden as a detour – see map.
• Viva buses will continue to travel this section of rapidway during regular operating hours.

Please remember to reduce your speed through construction zones and be mindful of traffic shifts and signs that will help guide you along your way. If you’re walking, please use dedicated crosswalks and stay aware of your surroundings.
