Dates/times: 1am to 5am in the early mornings from Monday, March 23 to Friday, March 27
Locations:

• Highway 7 East at the intersections of Chalmers Road, Valleymede Drive and West Beaver Creek Road
• Eastbound and westbound traffic lanes adjacent to the rapidway
• In the rapidway lanes at the affected intersections

Description:

• Crews will be replacing traffic arms at the Chalmers, Valleymede and West Beaver Creek intersections along Highway 7 East during the overnight hours.
• Eastbound and westbound traffic lanes beside the rapidway will be closed temporarily as crews do the work at each intersection.
• Crews will also be working in the rapidway lanes – since this is outside of Viva service hours, there will be no impact to Viva bus service and the Chalmers, Valleymede and West Beaver Creek vivastations will be open during regular hours of service.
• Work will be completed as quickly as possible to minimize any inconvenience.
• There will be construction-related noise from equipment and trucks.
• Sidewalks and curbside bus stops will not be affected.
• This work is weather-dependent.
