paving work, November 26-30
Paving work will take place next week on Highway 7 from just west of Fairburn Drive to just west of Rodick Road. Work is weather dependent.
Please be advised:
- Intersection impacts as well as eastbound lane closures.
- Police officers will be on-site at impacted areas where required and turning movements will be at their discretion.
- Follow detour signs to access properties south of Highway 7.
- Expect significant traffic delays. Give yourself extra time to get to your destination or plan alternate routes.
- This work will have noise impacts.
- Fairburn Drive intersection impacts:
- Intersection will be closed on the south side, from 8pm, November 26 to 5am, November 30.
- Traffic lights at Fairburn Drive will not be operational.
- Intersection will be closed to northbound and southbound through traffic.
- First Markham Place driveway:
- Driveway to First Markham Place will be closed, from 8pm, November 26 to 5am, November 30. Please use entrance off Rodick Road.
construction work, November 25–29
The following lane closures and construction work is scheduled to take place next week on Highway 7 at the intersections indicated below. Please be advised that there may be noise impacts from this work. There are some detours in effect, please look for signage.
lane closures:
- Bayview Avenue:Northbound curb lane closed, November 27, from 9:30–3:30pm.
- Saddlecreek Drive: Eastbound and westbound lane closures, one lane closed at a time, November 27, from 9:30–3:30pm.
- East Beaver Creek Road:Eastbound and westbound lane closures, one lane closed at a time, November 27, from 9:30–3:30pm.
- Highway 404 at Highway 7 [weekday/night]: Daily and nightly lane closures until November 29, from 9am–4pm and 7pm–7am.
- Highway 404 to Warden Avenue: Multiple lane closures, November 25–29 from 9:30am–3:30pm, traffic will be heavier than usual.
- Allstate Parkway:Southbound right-turn lane closed north of Highway 7 to allow for pedestrian access until November 29.
- Woodbine Avenue:Southbound left turn lane closed, north of Highway 7, November 22–29, from 9:30am–3:30pm. Intermittent northbound and southbound lane closures north and south of Highway 7 until December 6. Traffic will be heavier than usual.
- Fairburn Drive: Southbound and northbound curb lanes closed south of Highway 7 to allow for pedestrian access, November 25–December 6.
- Rodick Road: Southbound curb lane closed north of Highway 7 to allow for pedestrian access, November 25–December 6.
- Cedarland Drive: Closed until the end of 2013.
