Construction work, September 3–6

August 31, 2013

The following lane closures and construction work is scheduled to take place next week on Highway 7 at the intersections indicated below. Please be advised that there may be noise impacts from this work. There are some pedestrian detours in effect–please look for wayfinding signage.

new bayview vivastations on highway 7 open september 1:

To access the new vivastations on Highway 7 at Bayview please use the new walkway and stairs located at Bayview towers. The temporary Viva stop at High Tech Road is now closed. Riders will continue to board YRT at High Tech Road. The towers were built to improve transit access and connectivity for all. With a heated pedestrian walkway, elevator and an enclosed staircase, riders will now be able to access one of the busiest vivastations with ease. To go with that, pedestrians and residents can easily connect between these major streets. Please see map below.
