Nightly Paving Work: Chalmers Road to Highway 404

Nightly paving work continues from early July to late July between Chalmers Road and Highway 404. Expect noise and significant traffic delays due to lane closures. It is weather dependent and the dates may change. Give yourself extra time to get to your destination or plan alternate routes.

Details of Work

• Crews are scheduled from 7pm-7am as weather permits
• Follow detour signs to access businesses on Highway 7 and on side streets.
• Intersections remain open.

• Pond Drive to Highway 404, Dates TBD

Westbound Lane Closures, Dates TBD

• Highway 404 to Valleymede Drive, Dates TBD
• Valleymede Drive to Doncrest Road, Dates TBD

Eastbound and Westbound Lane Closures, Dates TBD

• Doncrest Road to Bayview Avenue, Dates TBD
• Bayview Avenue to Chalmers Road, Dates TBD
• Work will be sequenced so only one side will be impacted at a time

Bus Stop Impacts

• Bus stops may be temporarily relocated when work is taking place
• Wayfinding signage will be in place for riders
