On Thursday morning, crews will be activating the traffic signals at the intersection of Highway 7 West and Famous Avenue. Please see below for further details.

work hours*: 9am-12pm
what you need to know:
- Tomorrow morning, at the Hwy 7 West and Famous intersection, the temporary traffic signals that will be in place throughout construction are scheduled to be activated.
- The traffic lights will be out of service intermittently, in all directions. Expect to see the lights out or flashing.
- Once activated, crews will return at a later date to remove the old signal poles and equipment.
- This work may require short-term lane closures around each work area as crews make their way around the intersection.
- Paid duty police officers will be onsite for the duration of the work to control traffic.
- Please give yourself enough time to get to your destination, and remember to reduce your speed through construction zones.
