traffic signal work and traffic line removal on Highway 7 West

On Thursday, crews will be out working along Highway 7 in three locations. Crews will require a median lane closure on eastbound Highway 7, east of Keele Street, to remove old traffic lines. In addition, crews will be working on traffic lights at Keele in the morning and at Maplecrete Road in the afternoon. Please see below for details:

work dates*: Thursday, Jan. 26
work hours*: 9am–noon

  • Crews will be removing old traffic lines on eastbound Highway 7 West, east of Keele between Hillside and Bowes.
  • The eastbound median lane [next to the rapidway] will be closed for this work.

traffic signal work at Keele

work dates*: Thursday, Jan. 26
work hours*: 9am–noon

  • Crews will be at the Highway 7 and Keele intersection working on traffic lights.
  • Expect to see the lights flashing during this work.
  • Paid duty police officers will be onsite for the duration of the work to control traffic.
  • The intersection will remain open during this work.

work dates*: Thursday, Jan. 26
work hours*: noon–3:30pm

  • Crews will be at the Highway 7 and Maplecrete intersection working on traffic lights.
  • Expect to see the lights flashing during this work.
  • Paid duty police officers will be onsite for the duration of the work to control traffic.
  • The intersection will remain open during this work.

Please give yourself enough time to get to your destination, and remember to reduce your speed through construction zones.
