overnight work and right-turn lane closure on Jane at Highway 7

Tomorrow, the northbound Jane Street right-turn lane onto Highway 7 will be closed for sidewalk work. Note also there will be crews working tonight on bike boxes throughout the corridor. Please see below for details on the traffic shift:

work dates*: Tuesday, Oct. 25
work hours*: 8:00am-4:00pm

  • To complete work on the sidewalk at the southeast corner of Jane St., the northbound right-turn onto Highway 7 will be closed.
  • Vehicles will still be able to turn right onto Highway 7 from the through lane on Jane.
  • A portion of the sidewalk on the southeast corner of the intersection will be closed during this work. Follow signs which will guide pedestrians around the work zone.
  • The bus stop on Jane will be moved a small distance south during the work.
  • Note also there will be crews working tonight on bike boxes throughout the corridor, 7:00pm-6:00am.
  • Please give yourself enough time to get to your destination, and remember to reduce your speed through construction zones.

*Please note: As with other road construction projects, some work may be rescheduled due to weather or other variables. We are committed to providing advance notice whenever possible.
