Crews will be working at the CN Bridge on Highway 7 West starting Friday during the day, and then overnight Saturday. Please read on for details on this work.

work dates*: Friday, Oct. 14 to Sunday, Oct. 15
work hours*: 9:30am–3:30pm Friday, 7pm–6am Saturday, with lane shift in place 24hrs/day

  • Starting Friday and overnight Saturday, crews will be installing rubber seals and performing a water seal test on Highway 7 West on the CN Bridge.
  • On Friday, westbound lanes will be shifted away from the median and towards the curb, with no lane reductions.
  • On Saturday night, traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction to accommodate this work, and traffic will shift again as work progresses.
  • Traffic will return to its regular configuration on Sunday morning.
  • Please give yourself enough time to get to your destination, and remember to reduce your speed through construction zones.

*Please note: As with other road construction projects, some work may be rescheduled due to weather or other variables. We are committed to providing advance notice whenever possible.
