October 4, 2016

Over the next couple of days, crews will be cleaning the new vivastation platforms at Creditstone Road and Keele Street. In addition, water seal testing on the CN Bridge will continue. Please see below for details on temporary lane reductions and traffic impacts:

vivastation platform cleaning

work dates*: Wednesday, Oct. 5 to Thursday, Oct. 6
work hours*: 9am–4pm

  • Crews will be cleaning the vivastation platforms on Highway 7 West at Creditstone and Keele.
  • This work will require short-term, rolling lane shifts, as crews move from platform to platform.
  • Please give yourself enough time to get to your destination, and remember to reduce your speed through construction zones.

CN Bridge work

work dates*: Wednesday, Oct. 5 to Thursday, Oct. 6
work hours*: 7:30pm–6am, overnight

  • Crews will be conducting water seal tests on the westbound lanes across the CN Bridge.
  • Westbound traffic across the CN Bridge will be reduced to one lane and shifted towards the centre median.
  • Traffic will return to its regular configuration in the morning.
  • Please give yourself enough time to get to your destination, and remember to reduce your speed through construction zones.

*Please note: As with other road construction projects, some work may be rescheduled due to weather or other variables. We are committed to providing advance notice whenever possible.
