Highway 7 West overnight paving activity

August 16, 2016

Tonight, crews will be completing top layer paving eastbound on Highway 7 from Creditstone Road to Keele Street. Please see below for details:

work dates*: Tuesday, Aug. 16, to Wednesday, Aug. 17
work hours*: 7pm–6am, overnight

  • Eastbound traffic on Highway 7 will be reduced to one lane and shifted to the rapidway between Creditstone and Keele.
  • Paid duty police officers will be on site to help direct traffic.
  • Final line painting will occur before Highway 7 is reopened.
  • Bus stops and sidewalk access may be shifted during this operation. Signs will be placed onsite to guide pedestrians.
  • There will be construction-related noise from equipment and trucks.
  • Please give yourself enough time to get to your destination, and remember to reduce your speed through construction zones.

*Please note: As with other road construction projects, some work may be rescheduled due to weather or other variables. We are committed to providing advance notice whenever possible.
