work hours:  7am to 7pm

what you need to know:

  • Hwy 7 traffic will be reduced to one lane eastbound from Hillside Avenue to the GO Barrie Bridge as crews complete road work and paving.
  • Access to driveways along Hwy 7 will be temporarily disrupted. Flag persons will be onsite to help direct motorists and pedestrians.
  • Some bus stop relocations will be required for this work. Where bus stops are affected, directional signs will guide pedestrians to the nearest open bus stop.
  • There will be construction-related noise from equipment and trucks.
  • Please give yourself enough time to get to your destination, and remember to reduce your speed through construction zones.

We understand that construction can be disruptive, and we thank you in advance for your patience as we transform Highway 7. If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
