Please see the information below about temporary lane closures next week for work on Highway 7 at Keele Street:

Tonight’s line painting – postponed

Please be advised that tonight’s line painting [and the subsequent traffic shift] have been cancelled due to rain. Overnight line painting work has been rescheduled for Wednesday, September 23 from 7pm to 6am, with permanent changes to the intersections taking effect on Thursday morning.

Hwy 7 West & Keele lane closures

date/time of work*: Between 9:30am and 3:30pm beginning Monday, September 21 until Wednesday, September 30

what you need to know:

• Crews will be installing street light pole bases on the north and south medians of Keele.
• There will be northbound and southbound centre-lane closures on Keele at Hwy 7.
• The double-left-turning lane onto Keele from Hwy 7 will also be reduced.

• There will be construction-related noise from equipment and trucks.
• Motorists and transit riders may experience traffic delays in these areas.
• Please remember to reduce your speed through construction zones.
