temporary curb lane closures on Hwy 7 West at Edgeley and Jane

Please see the information below about temporary lane closures next week for curb work along Highway 7, from Edgeley Boulevard to Jane Street, and for a short time at Commerce Street:

dates /hours of work*: The lane closures will be in place 24 hours per day for approximately 7 days, beginning 7am on Monday, July 27, weather permitting.

locations:

  • Edgeley & Hwy 7, northwest and northeast corner
  • Jane & Hwy 7, northwest corner

what you need to know:

  • Crews will be installing permanent curbs at the NW and NE corners of Edgeley & Hwy 7, and at the NW corner of Jane & Hwy 7.
  • Curb lanes on Edgeley just north of Hwy 7 will be temporarily closed.
  • The westbound right-turn lane on Jane at Hwy will be temporarily closed.
  • There will also be a short, temporary, westbound curb lane closure at Commerce Street, from 7am to 1pm, on Monday, July 27.
  • There will be construction-related noise from equipment and trucks.
  • Motorists and transit riders may experience traffic delays in these areas.
  • Work will be scheduled to be completed as quickly as possible.
  • Sidewalks, crosswalks and bus stops will remain open.
  • Please remember to reduce your speed through construction zones.
