The vision of a vibrant, new downtown for the City of Vaughan is gradually becoming reality. Vaughan Metropolitan Centre is under construction, the 8.6 km Toronto-York-Spadina Subway Extension is happening, and the transformation of Highway 7 is emerging, as some of the more permanent features are built and installed over the next several months – features that will transform the streetscape.
New streetlight base and pole installation
Foundation work for the Vivastation protective wall
Base work for sidewalk pavers
The layout, delivery and installation of the iconic vivastation steel frames and glass canopies
Planter installation along the boulevard
Sunny summer weather is here and it’s a great time to come out and support your local businesses along Highway 7. Their staff is ready to help you find just what you need. Stop, shop and dine 7!
We understand that construction can be disruptive, and we thank you in advance for your patience as we transform Highway 7. If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
