Crews will be working overnight Friday to paint traffic lines, on the North side of Highway 7 from the CN Bridge to just west of Bowes Road. Please see below for details on the temporary lane reductions and traffic shift:

dates /hours of work*: The lane closures will be in place overnight between 8pm on Friday, June 26 and 9am, Saturday, June 27.

what you need to know:

  • Crews will be line painting along Hwy 7 from the CN Bridge to just west of Bowes Road.
  • During the line painting on the north side of Hwy 7, vehicle traffic will flip to the south side and will be reduced to one lane in each direction, east and westbound.
  • Keele Street also will be reduced to one lane in each direction, north and southbound.
  • All movements through the intersection will be possible, including left turns.
  • Motorists and transit riders may experience traffic delays in these areas.
  • There will be construction-related noise from equipment and trucks.
  • Sidewalks, crosswalks and bus stops will remain open.
  • Access to driveways and properties will be maintained.
  • Please remember to reduce your speed through construction zones.
