Please see the information below about temporary lane closures along Highway 7 West, from Jane Street to Keele Street.

work hours: 7pm to 6am

  • Crews are line painting along Highway 7 from Jane Street to the CN Bridge.
  • Highway 7 will be reduced to one lane in each direction, east and westbound, and there will be temporary, intermittent lane closures at the Jane Street and Highway 7 intersection.
  • Motorists and transit riders may experience traffic delays in these areas.
  • There will be construction-related noise from equipment and trucks.
  • Sidewalks, crosswalks and bus stops will remain open and directional signs will be onsite to guide pedestrians.

  • As road widening activities continue, the the northbound right-turn lane on Keele St. at Highway 7 will remain in place for the next two weeks. Please expect traffic delays due to lane reductions and plan your routes accordingly. Thank you for your patience!
