Vaughan: lane closures near Edgeley and Hwy 7

As part of rapidway construction, utility investigations will be underway for the next four days near the Highway 7 intersections at Edgeley Boulevard and at Jane Street. Please see the information below about temporary, alternating lane closures:

dates of work*: starting Friday, March 13 for approximately four days
work hours: 9:30am to 3:30pm

noticeable impacts:

  • Right turn lanes on Edgeley and on Interchange Way will be temporarily closed near Highway 7.
  • West of Jane, the westbound curb lane will be temporarily closed on Highway 7.
  • Sidewalks, crosswalks and bus stops will remain open and directional signs will be onsite to guide pedestrians.
  • As required, paid duty police officers will be on site to direct motorists and pedestrians.
