Vaughan: Jane St. lane closures starting Mar. 4

As part of rapidway construction, utility investigations will be underway this week at the south west corner of Highway 7 and Jane Street. Please see the information below about short-term lane closures on Jane Street.

dates of work*: starting Wednesday, March 4 for approximately three days
work hours: 9:30am to 3:30pm

noticeable impacts:

  • The southbound lanes of Jane Street will be reduced to one lane from 100 metres north of Highway 7 to 100 metres south of the intersection.
  • Sidewalks, crosswalks and bus stops will remain open and directional signs will be onsite to guide pedestrians.
  • As required, paid duty police officers will be on site to direct motorists and pedestrians.
