Where and when is the work being done?

• Dates: Sunday, January 15 to Tuesday, January 17, 2012.
• Hours of work: 9am to 3pm.
• Work location: various locations along Highway 7 West, between Highway 400 and Creditstone Road.

What is being done?

Crews will take measurements and photographs, and visually inspect the roadway and surrounding area.

What impact will this have?

Crew members may be noticeable in the area wearing safety vests and carrying clipboards. Aside from this, this work will not affect residents, businesses, drivers and pedestrians.

Why does this work need to be done?

Environmental assessments need to be completed to prepare for the vivaNext rapidway project. Rapidway construction on Highway 7 West will happen in two phases, starting this year and scheduled to be complete by 2020.
