what you need to know

  • The south side of Highway 7 will be closed, from Costa Rd. to the CN Bridge, as crews work around the clock each night to complete grinding and paving activities in the area.
  • The intersection of Costa Rd. and Highway 7 will also be closed for this work activity.
  • Eastbound Highway 7 traffic will be shifted to the north side of the road from Costa Rd. to the CN Bridge.
  • Eastbound and westbound Highway 7 traffic between Costa Rd. and the CN Bridge will be reduced to one lane in each direction.
  • Left-hand turning movements and U-turns will be available at Creditstone Rd. and Keele St.
  • Detour signs will be in place and paid duty police officers will be on site to help guide pedestrians and drivers. Please see the detour map for details.
  • There will be construction-related noise from equipment and trucks.
  • Please give yourself enough time to get to your destination, and remember to reduce your speed through construction zones.

Please note: As with other road construction projects, some work may be rescheduled due to weather or other variables. We are committed to providing advance notice whenever possible.
