Hello,
Starting Wednesday, crews will be conducting environmental testing on Centre Street between Dufferin Street and Concord Road/Wade Gate. There will be lane closures to accommodate this work. Please see below for further details.
work dates*: Wednesday, July 12 to Thursday, July 13
work hours*: 7:30am-3:30pm
- To accommodate this work on Centre St. between Dufferin St. and Concord Rd/Wade Gate, there will westbound lane closures, one at a time, around the work area.
- Sidewalks and bus stops will remain open wherever possible. Where the sidewalk or bus stop is relocated or closed, directional signs will guide pedestrians to the nearest open sidewalk or stop.
- Access will be maintained to properties in work areas; however, driveways may be reduced or temporarily disrupted. Advance notice will be provided wherever possible.
- Directional signs and paid-duty police officers will be on site to direct traffic, as needed.
- Due to the nature of this work, there will be construction-related noise from equipment and trucks.
- Please give yourself enough time to get to your destination, and remember to reduce your speed through construction zones.
