Tonight [Wednesday], crews will be installing temporary traffic signal poles at the intersection of Highway 7 and the Yonge Street connector road. In addition, there will be utility work on Centre Street between Disera Drive and New Westminster Drive. Please see below for further details.

work dates*: Wednesday, June 7 to Thursday, June 8
work hours*: 11pm-6am, overnight
- To accommodate this work, the Yonge Street connector road at Highway 7 will be closed overnight. Lanes will reopen in the morning.
- Directional signs and paid-duty police officers will be on site to direct traffic, as needed.
- Due to the nature of this work, there will be construction-related noise from equipment and trucks.
- Please give yourself enough time to get to your destination, and remember to reduce your speed through construction zones.

utility work and trenching on Centre St
work dates*: Friday June 9th to Monday July 20th
work hours*: 8am-4pm
- To accommodate this utility work, crews will be trenching on Centre St. from Disera Dr. to New Westminster Dr.
- Sidewalks and bus stops will remain open wherever possible. If a sidewalk or bus stop is temporarily closed, directional signs will guide pedestrians to the nearest open sidewalk or bus stop.
- Due to the nature of this work, there will be construction-related noise and dust from equipment and trucks.
- Please give yourself enough time to get to your destination, and remember to reduce your speed through construction zones.
