Beginning tomorrow, there will be curb lane closures westbound on Centre Street between Dufferin Street and New Westminster Drive as crews conduct some finishing work on the new water main. In addition, at the intersection of Disera Drive and Centre St. there will also be a closure tomorrow. Please see below for further details.
water main work:
work hours*: 9:30am–3:30pm
- Starting tomorrow, there will be short-term, rolling closures around the work area in the westbound curb lane between Dufferin and New Westminster for water main work.
fire hydrant testing:
work hours*: 9:30am–3:30pm
- On Thursday, there will be a lane closure at the southeast corner of Disera and Centre for fire hydrant testing and inspection.
- Sidewalks and bus stops will remain open wherever possible. If a sidewalk or bus stop is temporarily closed, directional signs will guide pedestrians to the nearest open sidewalk or bus stop.
- Due to the nature of this work, at times, there will be construction-related noise and dust from equipment and trucks.
- Please give yourself enough time to get to your destination, and remember to reduce your speed through construction zones.
