  • Crews will be removing the median strip [the concrete strip that separates opposing lanes of traffic] on Centre at the New Westminster and Disera intersections. Following the removals, the area will be paved.
  • To accommodate this work, the median lanes both eastbound and westbound, as well as the left-turn lanes will be closed near the work area.
  • There will be construction-related noise from equipment and trucks.
  • Paid duty police officers will be onsite for the duration of the work to control traffic.
  • Please give yourself enough time to get to your destination, and remember to reduce your speed through construction zone.

  • This work may require short-term lane closures around each work area as crews make their way around the intersection.
  • Paid duty police officers will be onsite for the duration of the work to control traffic.
  • Please give yourself enough time to get to your destination, and remember to reduce your speed through construction zones.
