Bathurst connector road closed this weekend for sewer, culvert and utility work

The Bathurst-Highway 7 connector road will be fully closed this weekend from Friday night at 10pm until 5am Monday morning. This closure will accommodate a variety of activities including sewer, culvert, and utility infrastructure to support the future rapidway and vivastation. Please see below for further details.

what you need to know:

  • There will be multiple activities on the connector road between Bathurst Street and Highway 7 this weekend.
  • The connector road will be closed with no access between Bathurst and Highway 7, beginning Friday night until early Monday morning.
  • The connector road will reopen by 5am Monday morning with only the eastbound curb lane remaining closed.
  • Detour signs to indicate alternate routes will be posted.
  • There will be construction-related noise from equipment and trucks.
  • Please give yourself enough time to get to your destination, and remember to reduce your speed through construction zones.
