Beginning Wednesday, there will be a lane closure on Vaughan Boulevard at Centre Street to accommodate water main connection work. Please see below for further details.

work dates*: Wednesday, May 24 to Friday, May 26
work hours*: 7:30am–5pm with closure in place 24 hrs/day

what you need to know:

• To accommodate water main connection work, the northbound through lane on Vaughan Blvd. just north of Centre St. will be closed.
• Traffic on Vaughan Blvd. just north of Centre will be shifted to the west. Southbound vehicles will use the through lane for all movements [right, through, left] at this intersection.
• Traffic control staff and paid-duty police officers will be on site to direct traffic, as required.
• Access to driveways will remain open during this work.
• A small portion of sidewalk on the north-east corner of Centre and Vaughan will be closed during this work. In cases where sidewalks are closed around the work areas, directional signs will guide pedestrians to the nearest open sidewalk.
• Due to the nature of this work, there will be construction-related noise from equipment and trucks.
• Please give yourself enough time to get to your destination, and remember to reduce your speed through construction zones.
